Parkinson Association of Alberta offers a variety of programming opportunities for people with Parkinson disease, their care partners and families, and health care professionals.  Our programs fall into four categories; all designed to help people living with and affected by Parkinson's lead a healthy and active life!

    PD and Boxing Open House

Friday, January 5

Location: Adventure Boot Camp - 1720 2 Ave S

Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Cost: free

 

Join us to learn more about Lethbridge Dopamine Boxing. This event is for people with PD, their families, and the community at large. We invite you to stop by, ask questions, and participate in a PD & Boxing Class Demonstration.



    PD & Boxing - Winter Session I

January 8 -  February 16
Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Location: Adventure Boot Camp - 1720 2 Ave S

Time: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Cost: 2x a week - Members $120/Non-members $144 & 3x a week Members $180 & Non-members $216

 

(In partnership with the Lethbridge Boxing Club and University of Lethbridge)

Join us for Lethbridge Dopamine Boxing! The goals of this class will be tailored for participants with PD. The class will learn fundamental movement skills, establish and increase body awareness as well as balance and flexibility. You will increase joint mobility and cardiorespiratory fitness while also building strength and power. Please contact 403-317-7710 for more information or to register.


* Please have your doctor’s clearance filled out and completed to bring to the first class.



    PD & Boxing - Winter Session 2

February 19 - March 28
Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Time: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
